Investor Relations Associate
Position Overview
As an Investor Relations Associate at Fairhaven Property Group, you will play a vital role in supporting our Investor Relations Manager in building and maintaining strong relationships with our investors. This entry-level position requires excellent people skills, a comfort with cold calling and reaching out to new contacts, and the ability to manage various tasks as directed by the Investor Relations Manager. You will work closely with our CRM and assist in reporting, communications, and other investor-related activities. This is a hybrid role, requiring occasional office meetings and offering flexibility in your work environment.
Location: Hybrid - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia / Remote
Responsibilities
1. Investor Support:
Assist the Investor Relations Manager with all investor relations activities, providing exceptional service and addressing inquiries and concerns.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors, fostering long-term partnerships.
Manage investor communications, including newsletters, reports, and updates on fund performance and investment opportunities.
Assist in organizing investor events, conferences, and meetings to promote investor engagement and cultivate a sense of community.
2. Outreach and Engagement:
Conduct cold calls and reach out to new potential investors, introducing them to Fairhaven Property Group and our offerings.
Work with the Investor Relations Manager to identify and engage with target investor segments, leveraging your communication skills to build connections.
3. Reporting and CRM Management:
Manage reporting to the Investor Relations Manager, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided.
Utilize our CRM (HubSpot preferred) to track and manage investor interactions, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurately recorded.
4. Administrative Support:
Assist with administrative tasks related to investor relations, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and organizing documentation.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights to support investor relations efforts.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Entry-level position; experience in sales or finance is a plus.
Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptability and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
This is a hybrid role, with occasional office meetings required.
Strong people skills and the ability to understand and connect with investors are highly important.
